A unique opportunity to join me for a day of photography at Honister Slate Mine, around the site and in the mine.

The day includes a guided visit into the mines to capture the history and atmosphere of a working mine, a trip to the top of the mine to photograph the stunning views, the slate screes and standing rocks, the bothies and the tin hut.

We will walk down from the top of the mine to capture the views of Honister Pass and views towards the Hause. Finishing with the statues and objects around the Hause.

Course includes:

• Guided tour of mine
• Bus lifts to mine and top of the mine
• Lunch and afternoon tea
• Tuition

Carmen is a Fellow of the Learning and Performance Institute with a Diploma in adult education

Participants should bring:

• A DSLR, mirrorless or bridge camera
• A tripod
• Filters (if you have them)
• Extra memory cards and spare batteries.
• Suitable warm clothing and footwear
• Torch

Previous Experience: Some knoweldge of your camera is beneficial
